Package

  • 3 Year contract (renewable)
  • Single and family contracts available.
  • Generous Tax free basic salary. Offered according to experience.  Basic salary from 3100 up to 5750 QAR per month. 5750 QAR is equal to +/- 21 400 South-African Rand, 219 000 PKR, 111 130 INR, 123 GBP.                                                                    
  • Free fully furnished accommodation provided.
  • Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month added to your basic salary. 
  • Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For those with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).
  • 40 days paid annual vacation days.
  • End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

Minimum Requirements

Education:  (FULL TIME STUDIES ONLY)

Minimum:  High School

Preferred: Diploma in Science

 

Experience: (LICENSED OR REGISTERED EXPERIENCE)

Minimum: None

Preferred: 2 years Licensed experience in Audiology field

 

Required Certification or Licensure or Registration:

None

 

Language Skills:

Fluent in English - Oral and Written.


Job Specification

Position Summary:

Within the mission, vision, and values of the Employer, actively participates in planning, implementing and evaluating Audiology services within the State of Qatar to provide individualized, quality patient care to those with hearing impairments and diseases. Regularly integrates knowledge, skills, and experience to promote maximum patient care.

 

Principal Accountabilities

  • Performs hearing screens on newborns in the parent's room.  Using guidelines and protocols established and approved by the Employer’s management.
  • Administers and interprets physiologic testing including AABR, OAEs, immittance audiometry, and acoustic reflex.
  • Organizes, manages and tracks computer-based data in a timely and accurate manner. Responsible for State reporting of hearing screen results where applicable.
  • Performs hearing screening equipment including annual calibrations.
  • Completes training/orientation, when applicable.
  • Follows proper protocols and reporting for risk management issues if they arise.
  • Hold monthly meeting with Medical Sponsor to review monthly program summaries and statistics.
  • Performs other duties as requested.
