  • 3 Year contract (renewable)
  • Single and family contracts available.
  • Generous Tax free basic salary.
  • 12 800 - 23 625 Qatari Riyals per month. Salary paid in QR. 
  • 23 625 QR is +/- 460 000 INR/ 310 000 SDG / 900 000 PKR / 91 000 South-African Rand / 340 000 PHP / 20 000 TND / 4600 JOD. 
  • Free fully furnished accommodation provided.
  • Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month added to your basic salary.
  • Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For those with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).
  • School allowance: 21 000 QAR (maximum) for up to 3 children (ages 5- 18) per child per academic year provided that they are studying in private schools in Doha.
  • 40 days paid annual vacation days.
  • End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Education: (FULL TIME STUDIES ONLY)

B.Science Degree.


 Required certification/licensure:

Valid Primary License from the country of origin if applicable AND should be eligible for license in the State of Qatar within the Supreme Council of Health.



B.Science Degree  – 5 years licensed experience.  Must have experience in hospital setting not in small clinic.

Experience must include supervisory experience.

Must be/have been appointed in Lab Supervisor or Management role and be able to provide a employment certificate as proof of your job title in a supervisory/management role.  


·       Language Skills:

Fluent in English - Oral and Written.

Job Specification

Position Summary:

  • Supervise, perform and advise on all tests done in the laboratory.
  • Organize purchase orders of equipment and reagents.
  • Participate in administrative duties of the section as directed by the chairman.


Principal Accountabilities:

  • Responsible to the Consultant in-charge of the section.
  • Organize and directs the daily activities of technical staff in the section.
  • Supervise the activity and productivity of technical staff in the section in close consultation with the head of the section and the division chief technologist.
  • Supervises the work of the technical staff according to the approved test procedures.
  • Maintain adequate inventories of expandable supplies and prepare all purchase request.
  • Supervise the maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Implements and maintains a strict internal and external quality assurance.
  • Participates actively in the planning and presentation of continuing education program for laboratory staff assigned to the section as well as university students.
  • Evaluate periodically the technical staff and maintain the records.
  • Recommend to the head of section selection, transfer, discipline and discharge of personnel assigned to the section.
  • Ensure that the safety measures are implemented.
  • Prepares statistics of the section when required.
  • Re-evaluate current practices and procedures as and when required.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as required.
