  • 3 Year contract (renewable)
  • Single and family contracts available.
  • Generous Tax free basic salary.  Offered according to experience.
  • From 4400 QAR up to 7935 QAR per month.  7935 QAR +/- 1540  JOD, 6700 TND, 114 000 PHP, 304 000 PKR, 104 000 SDG, 155 000 INR,  29 800 ZAR,  1910 EUR, 1700 GBP.  Salary paid in QAR.                  
  • Free fully furnished accommodation provided.
  • Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month added to your basic salary.
  • Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For those with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Education: (FULL TIME STUDIES ONLY)

2 years Diploma in Radiation Technology OR Physics.

Only Diploma candidates accepted not degree's. 


Required certification/licensure:

Not applicable.


Minimum Experience:

3 years experience in Radiation technology related field.


Language Skills:

Fluent in English - Oral and Written.


Position Summary:

  • Monitor all the radiation activities to ensure the safe environment for the workers, patient and public.


Common Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate knowledge and application of the employers mission, vision and values
  • Assist the supervisor and the medical physicist in his/her regular monitoring of equipment to ensure correct and consistent results of outputs are achieved, and to cover any duties when requested
  • Advising the technical staff on new equipment and protection protocols under supervision of the supervisor and the medical physicist.
  • Record all the parameters of the radiation generating equipment's for testing and maintenance.
  • Applying all regular checking for the protective equipment.
  • Assist the supervisor as a radiation safety officer in nuclear medicine.
  • Report the results of the checking to the supervisor and the medical physicist.
  • Acting as on-call duty physicist to respond to problems, provide advice and technical assistance.
  • Rotating in various departments to assist and observe radiation activities.
  • Apply the calibration for the radiation detection devices under supervision of the supervisor and the medical physicist.
  • Distribute the personal dosimeters for radiation workers and collect this dosimeters by the end of the monitoring period.
  • Complies with policies and procedures and in particular infection control, safety and quality Management.
  • Performs other duties as requested.
