  • 3 Year contract (renewable)
  • Single and family contracts available.
  • Generous Tax free basic salary. From 6800 QAR up to 12375 QAR per month.  Offered according to experience. This is a basic tax free salary of UP to+/- 2660 GBP, 2900 EUR, 3300 USD, 46 000 South-African Rand.
  • Free fully furnished accommodation provided.
  • Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month added to your basic salary. 
  • Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For those with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).
  • 40 days paid annual vacation days.
  • End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Education: (FULL TIME STUDIES ONLY)

B.Sc Degree in Nursing.


Required certification/licensure:

Valid Primary License from the country of origin if applicable AND should be eligible for license in the State of Qatar within the Supreme Council of Health.



3 years of licensed experience.

Preferred: 4 years licensed experience.


Language Skills:

Fluent in English - Oral and Written.


Position Summary:

Assist the Infection Control Coordinator in coordinating the Infection Control Programmed of one of the hospitals for the prevention and control of hospital acquired infection.


Principal Accountabilities:

Clinical Activities.

  • To Assist the IC Coordinator in the surveillance activities of his/her assigned hospital and liaise between the Infection Control coordinator and Infection Control Reviewers.
  • An active member of the Infection Control Committee of his /her assigned hospital and prepare reports of meetings.
  • Help to implement policies of his/ her assigned hospital and monitor compliance.
  • Make regular ward rounds checking for clues of infection and maintain records.
  • Play a major role in the day to day liaison between Infection Control team and hospital staff.
  • Investigate outbreaks of his/her hospital with the team.
  • Prepare statistical reports and share information.
  • Identify environmental hazards through regular environmental rounds.
  • Laise with Preventive Medicine staff for reportable communicable diseases.

Educational Activities.

  • Coordinate with education in charge, staff for a continuing educational programme of his/her assigned hospital.
  • Supervise outreach education programmes fo the Infection Control Reviews.
  • Conduct orientation and other educational activities when delegated.
