The QATAR medical group seeking to recruit AUDIOLOGY TECHNICIANS to work in QATAR.

The ideal candidates for this vacancies will have:

3 Year contract (renewable)
Females: Single Contracts for females available.
Males: Single and Family Contracts for males available.
Generous Tax free basic salary. Offered according to experience. From 5600 QAR up to 10250 QAR per month. Salary paid in QAR.

Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month.
Free fully furnished accommodation provided.
Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For males with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).
40 days paid annual vacation days.
End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

EDUCATION: (Full time studies)
Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Audiology/Speech language pathology.
4 years experience as a licensed Audiology Technician.
Valid Primary License from the country of origin if applicable AND should be eligible for license in the State of Qatar within the Supreme Council of Health.
Bilingual Arabic/English candidates.
To perform professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedure to implement facilitation and rehabilitation services for patients.
Assist and diagnose patients who have consistent ear problems that affect their hearing and balance.
Evaluate hearing of patients with ear abnormalities and/or auditory disorders through case history.
Clinical observation and diagnostic tests of auditory function, including physiologic testing (OAEs, AABR, ABR, immittance audiometry, acoustic reflex, tone decay, ETD), speech recognition, and speech discrimination tests.
Behavioural testing, conventional audiometry (BOA, VRA, CPA).
Administers and interprets electrophysiological tests including AABR and ABR, ENG (balance testing).
Rehabilitation services including hearing aide selection, fitting, orientation and counseling (provides ear mold fitting for purposes of hearing protection and hearing aid).
Case histories and patient reports.
Assists the Chief Technologist by ensuring the smooth and efficient operation and work.
Determines communication problems related to hearing disability.
Perform other duties as assign.
