Contract Period: Open ended.
Basic Salary: The offered amount is the discretion of the employer.
Transport Allowance: 1250 QAR per month.
Accommodation: Provided.
Annual Leave: 40 calendar days.
Schooling Assistance: 21 000 QAR (maximum) (up to 3 children) per child per academic year up to (ages from 5-18 years and provided that they are studying in private schools in Doha). Payment will be made upon submission of the appropriate receipts and will cover basic tuition fee only (provided that you obtained residence permit for them under your sponsorship).
Air Passage Entitlement: Economy class air passage/flight ticket for self and family - up to 3 children up to 18 years old, on joining, annual leave & repatriation (provided that he/she obtained residence permit for them under his/her sponsorship).
Baggage Allowance: Unaccompanied baggage for yourself - up to 50 kg and family up to 200 kg on joining, and 100kg for self and 250 kg for family on repatriation, to be reimbursed at standard rate.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Nursing OR any other healthcare related field.
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM LICENSED EXPERIENCE: 6 years in Healthcare related field out of which 2 years in a breast feeding specialty or breast feeding education.
MEDICAL LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Must have a valid IBCLC Certificate - International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Fluent in English.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Strategic planning of Breast Feeding activities. Coo-ordinate Breast Feeding activities across all disciplines.
Implement the international guidelines and standards at the field of breastfeeding
Identifies problems, designs projects, collects data, analyzes data, tracks workload and processes results
Maintains statistics
Actively promotes breastfeeding and assists mothers in reaching their own goals for breastfeeding
Develops and implements standards of care and guidelines for assisting breastfeeding mothers in all areas of the organization where they might be served.
Organizes information and posters for activities to promote breastfeeding
Plans, oversees and coordinates patient, family and staff breastfeeding education activities in coordination with the relevant departments.
Provides and coordinates didactic education to all patients who require breastfeeding information in accordance with current research literature.
Adjusts teaching plan to meet patient and family needs
Evaluates the effectiveness of patient and family education
Documents patient/family education and progress of the mother and baby.
Reviews and updates information regarding wellness topics such as nutrition, preventative services, and exercise to promote good health habits.
Responsible for coordinating staff competency activities in relation to breastfeeding in conjunction with the educators.
Communicates with physicians regarding patient condition and disposition and documents events
Performance psychosocial assessment of patient and family to identify significant cultural spiritual, financial or emotional factors which may affect the breast feeding plan.
Participates in Quality Improvement and research processes which result in the improvement of clinical interventions
Conducts annual audits to determine breastfeeding initiation and continuation rates and effects of change in protocols.
Independently assesses patient’s breastfeeding condition and uses judgment to determine healthcare needs and appropriate action to be taken
Recognizes and responds appropriately to deviation from normal
Evaluations health care facility for breastfeeding friendly activities.
Integrating services of clinical departments to promote and support breastfeeding
Cooperates with all other staff involved in Breast Feeding support.
