Global Medical Recruiting recruiting South-African HPCSA Registered ANA'S, ECA's and ECT's for the National Ambulance Service of the United-Arab-Emirates. Opportunity for you to gain work experience in the Middle-East. 140 x Emergency Medical Technician vacancies to be filled. 

We are planning an April 2024 recruitment trip to South-Africa for Ambulance Service UAE.

Interview dates, venue and salary package details to be finalized and will be advised soon. 

Requirement for EMT - Emergency Medical Technician:  South-African. Males & Females. Maximum age 35. BMI 19 - 32. No unmanageable chronic diseases. Fluent in English. Qualifications accepted: Recognized  Ambulance Emergency Assistant Certificate  or Certificate in Emergency Medical Care or Certificate in Emergency Care Technician.  Registration and licensed candidates accepted and invited to apply: HPSCA ANA - Ambulance Emergency Assistant, ECA - Emergency Care Assistant or ECT - Emergency Care Technicians with minimum 1 year experience post registration with HPCSA. Course certification:  BLS and PHTLS/ITLS.

Minimum Requirements

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:

Ambulance Emergency Assistant Certificate  or Certificate in Emergency Medical Care or Certificate in Emergency Care Technician (minimum durations of not less than 3 months) and BLS and PHTLS/ITLS course certifications

or

Bachelor degree / Diploma in Nursing along with a training certificate as an Emergency Medical Technician and BLS and PHTLS/ITLS course certifications.

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM LICENSED EXPERIENCE:

1 year of post-qualification experience in EMS ambulance, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care unit (CCU) or Emergency Rooms (ER).

MEDICAL LICENSE:

You must have a valid HPCSA license.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS AS SET BY EMPLOYER:

Age: Maximum age 35.

Length: Females at least 155cm tall, Males at least 160 cm tall.

BMI: Between 19 and 32.

No unmanageable chronic diseases.

Fluent in English speaking and writing. 

Specification

POSITION SUMMARY:

Professionals capable of providing basic life support in a pre-hospital environment.

Perform direct illness/injury assessment, provide basic care and assist Paramedics in emergency pre-hospital patient care to the ill and injured prior to and during ambulance transfer, and transfer of information to receiving facility as required.

Maintains operational and functional readiness of ambulance unit, medical and other equipment, to ensure continuum of emergency medical services.
