Package

Single Overseas Contract for unlimited time period. Monthly Basic Salary AED 4000 per month + Supplementary Allowance AED 6000.

Total Monthly Salary AED 10 000 (paid in AED) this is +/- R 51 000 per month .

Air Ticket AllowanceAED 3500 per year to be paid monthly AED 292 this is +/- R 1500Free first flight ticket to the UAE on joining. 

Medical Insurance provided for employee only includes illness, medication, hospitalization and basic dentistry.

35 days paid leave per year. End of contract bonus.  National Ambulance UAE will pay for your dataflow, licensing exam and licensing recruitment expenses.

Housing provided by National Ambulance UAE for 1-2 month, 20% of supplementary allowance deducted if you make use of company accommodation during 1-2 month. HR of National Ambulance UAE will assist you with finding and renting housing after this period but for your own cost.

After completion of your probation period you will receive additional allowances:

+ RRA - Recruitment Retention Allowance: AED 600 monthly this is +/- R 3000

+ Risk Allowance: AED 600 monthly this is +/- R 3000

Note: No family sponsorship provided by employer as this is a single job contract offer. Candidates can sponsor family to the UAE, all sponsorship expenses are for candidates own pocket (family member housing, flights, medical, schooling etc.)

12 Hour shifts. 4 Days on duty. 4 Days off. Might change on the business requirement.

 

Note: Cost of renting a Studio apartment in Abu-Dhabi plus minus 2500-3000 AED per month.

Minimum Requirements

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:

Ambulance Emergency Assistant Certificate  or Certificate in Emergency Medical Care or Certificate in Emergency Care Technician (minimum durations of not less than 3 months) and BLS and PHTLS/ITLS course certifications

or

Bachelor degree / Diploma in Nursing along with a training certificate as an Emergency Medical Technician and BLS and PHTLS/ITLS course certifications.

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM LICENSED EXPERIENCE:

1 year of post-qualification experience in EMS ambulance, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care unit (CCU) or Emergency Rooms (ER).

MEDICAL LICENSE:

You must have a valid HPCSA license.

 

Specification

POSITION SUMMARY:

Professionals capable of providing basic life support in a pre-hospital environment.

Perform direct illness/injury assessment, provide basic care and assist Paramedics in emergency pre-hospital patient care to the ill and injured prior to and during ambulance transfer, and transfer of information to receiving facility as required.

Maintains operational and functional readiness of ambulance unit, medical and other equipment, to ensure continuum of emergency medical services.
