7 years experience in healthcare out of which 4 years in CIS or

Purpose of the CIS Specialist:  

To be responsible for designing, managing, organising and evaluating the clinical information system, analysing the clinical documentation and orders needs by physicians and clinical providers within the inpatient setting. Support in developing policies and procedures. Ensure alignment of clinical clinical orders and documentation with the clinical transformation process under the supervision of the Executive Director CIS.

 

 

 

 



Package

 

Basic Salary:  The offered amount is the discretion of the employer. 

Transport Allowance: 1250 QAR per month. 

Accommodation: Provided.

Annual Leave: 40 calendar days.

Schooling Assistance: 21 000 QAR (maximum) (up to 3 children) per child per academic year up to (ages from 5-18 years and provided that they are studying in private schools in Doha). Payment will be made upon submission of the appropriate receipts and will cover basic tuition fee only (provided that you obtained residence permit for them under your sponsorship).

Air Passage Entitlement: Economy class air passage/flight ticket for self and family - up to 3 children up to 18 years old, on joining, annual leave & repatriation (provided that he/she obtained residence permit for them under his/her sponsorship).

Baggage Allowance: Unaccompanied baggage for yourself - up to 50 kg and family up to 200 kg on joining, and 100kg for self and 250 kg for family on  repatriation, to be reimbursed at standard rate.

Job Family: Clinical Support. Report to: Executive Director CIS. Subordinates: CIS Coordinators

Key Responsibilities: 

Plans, organizes and facilitates process to support physicians in development of order sets and physician documentation with the knowledge on all components of orders and clinical documentation content. Provides support to multidisciplinary teams in developing content for clinical documentation tools such as assessments, flowsheets, care plans and patient education tools. Evaluates content implementation strategies and documents current and future status workflows impacted by clinical documentation. Contributes to policy and procedure development that will be used in conjunction with the orders and clinical documentation applications. Provides support and training to the end users for system software utilization. Conducts regular day-to-day communication with content vendors and implementation partners, works with vendors/implementation partners to tailor content to organizational needs Contributes to practice workflow analysis and redesign. Act as a resource person for CIS department. Participates in regular status reporting and prepares detailed content specifications as needed. Collects information regarding potential system enhancement related to content. Supervises and mentors assigned CIS Coordinator on Clinical Information Systems design and implementation. Perform other duties as assigned.
