This is a fast-paced, field-based role within a specialized sports and orthopedic hospital.

The position involves working across clinics, rehab areas, and occasionally on-site with athletes.

Working Relationships

You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, physiotherapists, surgeons, anesthetists, and technicians, supporting the care and recovery of elite athletes and patients undergoing orthopedic procedures.

Role Overview

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality nursing care within a specialized sports medicine setting.

Your responsibilities include assisting in diagnostics, surgical preparation and recovery, perioperative care, and patient education.

You’ll support clinical procedures, monitor vital signs, manage medications, and help optimize patient outcomes in both acute and rehab environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and report patient responses to procedures and medications
• Administer and manage IV infusions under physician orders
• Coordinate care between Radiology and Nursing units
• Maintain sterile equipment and emergency supplies
• Follow all policies on infection control, safety, and quality
• Participate in on-call and holiday radiology service rotations
• Provide monthly reports on patient stats, inventory, and resource use
• Manage medical supplies and purchase orders
• Utilize digital medical records and collaborate with IT
• Contribute to strategic planning and departmental goals
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
