We are seeking a Radiology Nurse to join a dynamic and fast-paced imaging department. In this critical role, you will provide essential support for both diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures—ensuring patient safety, clinical excellence, and smooth procedural flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in CT, MRI, and ultrasound-guided procedures

  • Support interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and embolization's

  • Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions

  • Oversee sedation monitoring during diagnostic and vascular imaging

  • Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment

  • Deliver high-quality pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient care

Minimum Requirements

Education:

Full- time Studies bachelor's degree in nursing (4 Years duration)

or Full- time Studies Diploma in Nursing (3+years duration) + Nursing Degree (Part-time or Full-Time)

Minimum Experience:

3-5 years total experience of which 1 year in a similar role in radiology/ medical imaging department.

Licensing:

Registered Professional Nurse. Valid home-country nursing license

 

Specification

As a Radiology Nurse, you will provide direct professional nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures within the Radiology Department.

The role requires strong clinical judgment, IV administration skills, and the ability to manage medical inventory, records, and emergency resources.

You will serve as the primary liaison between nursing and radiology teams to ensure seamless and high-quality patient care.

 

The position requires 3–5 years of nursing experience, with at least one year in a similar role—preferably within a hospital radiology or imaging environment.

A bachelor’s degree in nursing and valid medical licensure are essential.

High proficiency in English is mandatory, while Arabic is considered an advantage.

 

You must be detail-oriented, professionally groomed, and capable of working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Experience using medical record systems and maintaining compliance with safety and infection control standards is expected.

Participation in on-call rosters and patient safety training is also required.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care aligned with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Monitor and document patient reactions to contrast agents, medications, and procedures.
  • Administer and manage IV injections under physician supervision within the Radiology department.
  • Serve as liaison between Radiology and Nursing units to coordinate patient care.
  • Ensure sterilization of tools and equipment used in special procedures.
  • Maintain emergency crash cart and manage inventory of medical and pharmaceutical items.
  • Participate in the on-call and out-of-hours Radiology service roster.
  • Submit monthly reports on patient stats, satisfaction, staff utilization, and consumable usage.
  • Collaborate with Finance and IT for inventory reporting and electronic medical records.
  • Assist in annual work planning aligned with nursing department strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality protocols.
  • Complete required annual patient safety training.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors within the scope of the role.
