Minimum Requirements

Education: 

Degree in Physiotherapy Assistant or equivalent training program.

Professional certifications in physiotherapy support are a plus.

Licensing & Membership:

Must hold a valid home-country license.

Recognized Fitness Instructor Certification (FIC) preferred.

Experience: 

5+ Years of clinical experience.

Minimum 2–3 years in a similar role, ideally within a sports or orthopedic setting.

This is a clinical support role within a high-performance sports medicine facility, assisting physiotherapists in outpatient and rehabilitation settings.

The role requires flexibility, professionalism, and a strong patient-focused approach.

Working Relationships

You will work collaboratively with athletes, coaches, physicians, technical staff, and other allied health professionals to deliver integrated, athlete-centered care.

Role Overview

As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you’ll support physiotherapists in delivering rehab and recovery programs, helping patients through exercises, preparing equipment, and ensuring smooth clinical operations within a high-performance sports medicine environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist physiotherapists with treatment sessions and therapeutic exercises

  • Prepare and maintain equipment and treatment areas

  • Guide patients through rehabilitation protocols under supervision

  • Support patient assessments and document clinical observations

  • Ensure a safe and clean environment in accordance with clinical standards

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care

  • Promote a positive patient experience through clear communication and support
