The all-inclusive monthly total salary of 12,100 QAR is structured as follows:

  • Basic Salary: 10,850 QAR
  • Transport Allowance: 1,250 QAR

Minimum Requirements

Overseas Hiring:

Require only candidates currently outside of Qatar.

Education:

Full-time Bachelor degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics.

Licensing:

Must hold a valid home-country license to practice.

Must be eligible for registration and licensing in the State of Qatar.

Essential Experience:

3+ Years Licensed Clinical Experience.

 

Specification

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Patient Management: Independently manage a personal caseload, including full assessment, re-assessment, and clinical diagnosis to determine the need for orthotic/prosthetic interventions.
  • Treatment Planning & Delivery: Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans collaboratively with patients and families using evidence-based practices.
  • Patient Education: Provide timely education to patients and families as part of the therapeutic process.
  • Team Collaboration: Actively participate in multidisciplinary activities such as rounds, clinics, and conferences to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Communication: Provide clinical recommendations and communicate effectively across all care teams to enhance patient outcomes and teamwork.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and professional documentation and records reflecting care provided.
  • Continuity of Care: Offer specific instructions and guidance to all stakeholders involved in ongoing patient care.
  • On-Call Support: Deliver orthotic/prosthetic care during weekends, holidays, and on-call situations.
  • Policy Adherence: Follow hospital and departmental protocols concerning safety, infection control, and quality improvement.
  • Other Duties: Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Team Oversight: Delegate tasks and supervise the workload of Prosthetics & Orthotics Technicians and patient attendants to optimize care delivery and efficiency.

Educational Responsibilities

  • Professional Development: Actively participate in in-service training, continuous education programs, and stay updated with the latest clinical practices.
  • Teaching: Contribute to educational efforts for nursing, medical, and other healthcare professionals as well as caregivers.
  • Research & Evidence-Based Practice: Engage in clinical research to support service improvement and enhance patient outcomes.
