The Quality Management Data Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Director and departmental leadership through comprehensive data analysis and the execution of regulatory and quality improvement initiatives. This position is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and actionable insights to drive clinical and performance enhancement efforts. The Data Analyst will provide technical and analytical expertise across a range of projects, ensuring alignment with quality standards and healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducts advanced data analysis to support ad-hoc requests, recurring reports, and project-based initiatives.
Designs and implements methodologies, scripts, and datasets for effective data analysis and presentation.
Utilizes and supports database applications and analytical tools to assess data quality, validate system functionality, and produce operational outputs.
Identifies new data sources and contributes analytical insights to ongoing projects, recommending improvements to data quality processes and procedures.
Enhances and supports data management processes including data profiling, data mapping, data lineage, and the maintenance of metadata and data dictionaries.
Establishes standardized procedures for identifying, investigating, and resolving data quality issues, while maintaining consistent practices for ongoing quality assurance.
Demonstrates a clear understanding of the interrelationship between system functionality and business workflows, supporting the advancement of data quality and governance practices.
Ensures adherence to recognized international quality and regulatory standards (e.g., JCI), applying industry best practices for measurement and compliance.
Performs additional responsibilities as assigned to support departmental goals.
