General Medical Manager vacancy available at state of the art Private Surgical Medical Complex in Doha Qatar. 


Comprehensive all inclusive marked related salary will be offered to the successful candidate in addition to the annual airfare tickets and medical insurance. Total Package QAR 50 000. 


Minimum Requirements


MINIMUM: Masters in Healthcare/Business Management or equivalent level clinical degree


PHD * Evidence of continuous clinical management / professional development.

PREFERRED: Healthcare Management postgraduate degree and Recognized Project Management Qualification or Clinical qualifications.


Minimum: 3 years experience of management in acute healthcare.

Job Purpose:
Responsible for the overall clinical direction of the center’s health and wellness activities, which includes medical consultations with staff, service providers and consumers, training and monitoring of contract physicians, as well as leadership and guidance to the medical core team.
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Manage our team of Physicians and ensure that employees are complying with company policies when providing healthcare.
  • Work directly with providers to educate them on our healthcare process and determine what can be done to improve overall healthcare quality.
  • Secure and increase profitability of the medical center.
  • Act as the medical expert in dealings with vendors and non-medical facilities that work within the organization.
  • Participate in the preparation and implementation of strategic and tactical plans and programs of the medical center.
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive clinical training programs for service providers to assure high quality consumer services.
  • Serve as primary advisor to the Board of Directors and clinical management regarding health and safety issues.
  • Recruit and train independent contractor physicians and other medical-allied professionals.
  • Provide clinical direction to medical core team including the center’s staff, and independent contractors, i.e. physicians, nurses, medical-allied professionals.
  • Recommend policies and guidelines relating to medical/clinical matters consistent with medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations.
  • Assist clinical department heads and committee chairs in setting and obtaining objectives for the improvement of the quality of medical care and resource utilization.
  • Work closely with medical staff to establish an accountability framework for physicians that addresses ethical, legal and fiscal responsibilities.
  • Provide advice to the Executive Director on medical/clinical matters.
