3 year Single and family contracts available.


Tax free basic salary. From 6800 QAR up to 12375 QAR per month.  Offered according to experience.

12375 QAR is +/- 2660 GBP, 2900 EUR, 3300 USD, 46 000 South-African Rand. Salary paid in QAR. 

Free fully furnished accommodation provided.

Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month added to your basic salary. 

Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For those with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).

40 days paid annual vacation days.

End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Education: (FULL TIME STUDIES ONLY)

B.Sc / Arts degree or 4 years Nursing Diploma.

Preferred:  M.Sc of Public Health / Epidemiology / Biostatistics


Required certification/licensure:



Minimum Experience:

2 Years.

Preferred Experience:  5 years.


Language Skills:

Fluent in English - Oral and Written.


Position Summary:

  • As a Research Coordinator of the Department of Epidemiology and Medical Statistics, the applicant is expected to have a strong foundational knowledge of various computer programs and applications, so as to be able to assist in the analysis and manipulation of the statistical and research data that is collected.
  • In addition, they are expected to have an in-depth knowledge of research procedures such as writing journal articles and analyzing and interpreting data.
  • The applicant reports directly to the Head of Department and assists him in his duties. In doing so, he/she will help in the smooth functioning of the department.


Principal Accountabilities:

  • Uses existing statistical software and variety of established statistical methods to gather, analyze and interpret research data to derive useful information for research studies.
  • Plans and documents computer data file structure; develops programs, manages and maintains complex statistical databases; supervises data entry.
  • Formats data, and develops and prepares reports, charts, tables, questionnaires and other related documents and graphics and professional power point presentations.
  • Prepares questionnaires for surveys, and conducts logic checks to maintain data quality.
  • Participates in the development of statistical methodology, and data analysis.
  • May supervise data entry personnel on specific, project-related tasks.
  • Writing literature reviews and research proposals.
  • Preparing Power Point presentations, Charts, and Documents as & when required.
