The ideal candidates for this vacancies will have a Bachelors Degree or 3 Year Diploma in Physiotherapy and at least 3-5 years licensed Physiotherapist experience in a hospital setting working ORTHOPEDICS/MSK.
The average total monthly salary for Physiotherapist is 10850 QR (basic + transport allowance) + additional benefits such as flight tickets, furnished accommodation etc. Note: 10 850 QR is +/- R42 000 South-African Rand, 4 500 000 LBP, 2200 JOD, 3000 USD, 2500 EUR, 2100 GBP.

Package
3 YEAR CONTRACT JOB (RENEWABLE)
Females: Single Contracts.
Males: Single and Family Contracts.
Tax free Basic Salary. From 8300- 15375 QR (Qatari Riyals) per month. (Salary offered according to experience)
Free fully furnished accommodation provided.
Transport allowance: 1250 QR per month added to your basic salary.
Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For males with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).
40 days paid annual vacation days.
End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION:
Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy or 3 Year Diploma in Physiotherapy (Fulltime Studies).
EXPERIENCE:
3-5 Years experience as a Physiotherapist IN A HOSPITAL SETTING (Licensed Experience)
Experience must include working in Orthopedics.
Note: Community Service experience is not considered as licensed experience.
CERTIFICIATION/LICENSURE:
Valid Primary License from the country of origin (if applicable) AND should be eligible for license from the licensing authority in the State of Qatar to practice as a healthcare profession.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Fluent in English.

JOB SUMMARY:
Provide clinical care independently including physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management of the assigned patients. Mentor, and oversee Technicians and Assistant Technicians responsible for updating personal clinical knowledge.
COMMON RESPONSIBILITIES:
CLINICAL:
Manage an individual caseload of assigned patients effectively and efficiently.
Independently assesses, re-assesses and synthesize evaluation data and provide a clinical diagnosis for individual patients to determine their need for physiotherapy intervention.
Independently formulate treatment plan in collaboration with patient/family, delivering individual physiotherapy treatment according to evidence based practice.
Provide patient and family education in a timely manner as part of the physiotherapy process.
Work as part of a team to ensure effective communication and delivery of care including participation in medical/surgical rounds, clinics, conferences.
Maintain patient documentation, records and accurate statistical information to reflect care provided and meet professional standards.
Communicate and make recommendations to all relevant disciplines of staff to maximize patient care and promote multidisciplinary team working
Provides specific clinical instructions, recommendations, education and advice to those involved in continuity of care.
Work independently to provide physiotherapy weekend/holiday and on-call care.
Participate in implementation of and Departmental Policies and Procedures of safety, infection control and quality improvement.
Performs other duties as assigned.
MANAGERIAL:
Delegate appropriate tasks, oversee clinical workload of Physiotherapy Technicians and Physiotherapy Aides to maximize efficiency and achieve desired quality of care.
EDUCATIONAL:
Participate in physiotherapy in-service to promote service development and / or personal development.
Engage in Continuous education programs.
Responsible for developing and updating clinical knowledge to ensure delivery of evidence based care, professional growth and development.
Participate in the development and organization of educational programs for nursing, medical, other multidisciplinary team members, staff as well as patient’s caregivers.
Participates in research activities to enhance clinical outcomes and promote evidence – based clinical practice.
