Package

3 Year contract (renewable)

  • Generous Tax free basic salary. Offered according to experience.
  • From 8300 QAR up to 15375 QAR per month.  15375 QAR is equal to +/- 2998 JOD / 12340 TND / 57 000 South-African Rand / 222 076 PHP / 585 000 PKR / 200 732 SDG.
  • Free fully furnished accommodation provided.
  • Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month added to your basic salary.
  • Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For those with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).
  • 40 days paid annual vacation days.
  • End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

Minimum Requirements

Education:  (FULL TIME STUDIES ONLY)

B.Sc in Biomedical Science related area.

 

Experience:  (LICENSED OR REGISTERED EXPERIENCE)

2 years Licensed experience. 

 

Professinal licensure / Registration:

The applicant must have a valid professional license to practice, or registration (where applicable) from home country and/or country of last employment. Must have Good standing status.

 

Language Skills:

Fluent in English - Oral and Written.


Job Specification

Position Summary:

  • Assisting the section technical supervisor in performing his/her duties.
  • Participation in training and orientation of technical staff, performance of laboratory tests.

 

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Performs all technical duties according to the approved procedures including those requiring high level of skill and judgment.
  • Assist the Senior Technologist in performing the duties.
  • Reports unusual results and difficulties to the Senior Technologist or the Supervisor.
  • Participate in continuing education of developee, subordinates and university students.
  • Maintain adequate inventories of expandable supplies.
  • Perform such other duties as reasonably required by the Senior Technologist or Supervisor. Ensuring recording of testes findings, accuracy, precision and integrity of laboratory results.
  • Recognizes technical problems and has the initiative and knowledge to troubleshoot.
