3 Year contract (renewable)

  • Single and Family contract offered.  
  • Generous Tax free basic salary. Offered according to experience.
  • From 11400 up to 21000 QAR per month (depending on experience).  21 000 QAR is +/- 7800 AUD per month basic salary. Salary paid in QAR.
  • Free fully furnished accommodation provided.
  • Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month added to your basic salary.
  • Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For those with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).
  • School allowance: 21 000 QAR (maximum) for up to 3 children (ages 5- 18) per child per academic year provided that they are studying in private schools in Doha.
  • 40 days paid annual vacation days.
  • End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Education: (FULL TIME STUDIES ONLY)

Bachelor’s Degree in medicine, nursing, or allied health.

Preferred Education:  Master’s Degree in medicine, nursing, or allied health


Required certification/licensure:

Valid Primary License from the country of origin if applicable AND should be eligible for license in the State of Qatar within the Supreme Council of Health.



4 years licensed healthcare experience with 2 years in the relevant discipline/program (i.e. trauma)

Preferred Experience:  5+ years licensed healthcare experience with 2 years in the relevant discipline/program (i.e. trauma)


Language Skills:

Fluent in English - Oral and Written.


Position Summary:

  • The Quality and Patient Safety Coordinator supports the department/program leadership, education, and project management in the designated department/program to improve quality, operational clinical initiatives, promote innovation, and identify/develop best practices for clinical excellence, service excellence, and patient safety.
  • This role will coordinate with others toward process improvements that will support the reduction of clinical errors and other factors that contribute to unintended adverse patient outcomes. The incumbent provides leadership for safety assessments, coordinates the activities of the performance improvement committee, educates other practitioners on system-based causes for medical error, consults with management and staff, and communicates literature-based ideas regarding effective safety and performance improvement strategies to others within the organization.
  • The coordinator operates within standardized procedures and precedents under the supervision of the department director/ program manager. The incumbent shall be subject to generally regulated routines, practices, and procedures and be subject to supervisory control and review.


Principal Accountabilities:

  • Monitors clinical process and outcomes and system issues related to quality of patient care in the related discipline/program (i.e., trauma, etc.).
  • Conducts chart reviews and clinical audits for the relevant discipline/program.
  • Provides and monitors written communication for performance improvement activities.
  • Identifies and investigates performance improvement events, opportunities, trends and sentinel events.
  • Helps outline remedial actions while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Participates in performance improvement committees.
  • Produces meeting minute’s performance improvement committees.
  • Provides staff education on performance improvement topics.
  • Assists in the development of clinical practice guidelines.
  • Assists in data collection.
  • Assists in protocol design for accurate data collection, feedback, and analysis.
  • Performs other duties as required within the applicable scope of practice and policies.
