Aim to hire overseas RN's to join a world leading specialized orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital in Qatar.

Professional Registered Nurses with 3+ years work experience in European countries and countries such as South-Africa, Australia, NZ, Canada invited to apply. 

Monthly salary range between 15 000 QAR - 20 000 QAR plus employee benefits such a flight tickets, medical insurance etc. 

This is a monthly salary of +/-:

• EUR 4000 - 5300
• GBP 3400 - 4500
• South-African Rand 77 000 - 103 000
• AUD 6640 - 8850

In these roles the focus is on high performance sports environments.  You will manage athletes injuries, assist in post-surgical care and provide advanced rehabilitation support to athletes.

Vacancies are not for general nurses but for nurses with expertise in sport medicine, rehabilitation and clinical support, especially those with experience in treating sports injuries and providing post-surgical care to athletes. Require nurses in specialities areas such as sport medicine nursing, orthopedic nursing, post surgical rehabilitation nursing, anesthesia, perioperative nursing and emergency nursing with experience in sports related injuries.

Job Requirements: 

Essential Fulltime Education:

• 4 Years Bachelor Degree in Nursing or 
• 3-4 Year Diploma in Nursing or
• Associate Degree in Nursing (on condition of being licensed as Registered General Nurse in country of origin/graduation)

Preferred to have, but not essential:

• Post Graduate Degree in nursing area of speciality or
• Masters Degree in Nursing  

Minimum Experience:

• Junior RN: 3-5 years of which 1 year in similar position, preferred to be in sports industry.
• Senior RN: 4-6 years of which 2 years in similar position, preferred to be in orthopedics, acute surgery or related field to sports medicine.

Nursing License to practice:

• Must have a valid nursing license to practice from your country of origin.
• Must be eligible for DHP licensing and registration as a professional nurse in the State of Qatar.

Language:

• Excellent English communication skills is a must.
• Additional languages an advantage.

Additional Knowledge & Skills: 

• Knowledgeable about muscle-skeletal anatomy and sports injuries.
• Knowledge and Competency on performing Cardiology and Muscle-skeletal assessment.
• Competent to perform stress ECG, normal ECG, Spirometry test and Vision test.
• Ability to assist the patient for cardiac Echo.
• Knowledge and Experience on the FIFA requirement for athlete screening and WADA prohibited list will be an advantage.
• ILS prepared to undertake ACLS or ALS training if required.
• Knowledge and skills about air way management.
• Knowledge about pharmacological medication, indication and side effects.
• Competent to conduct CPR and a member of the code blue team.
• Skills and knowledge about pain management and the use of the controlled drugs.
• Able and competent to assist the anaesthetists during the perioperative period
