Package
  • 3 Year contract (renewable)
  • Single and family contracts available.
  • Generous Tax free basic salary. Offered according to experience. 10 300 - 18 875 Qatari Riyals per month. 18 875  QAR is +/-  246 000 SDG / 272 300 PHP / 614 000 DZD / 364 000 INR / 49 100 MAD/ 1995 OMR. 
  • Note salary paid in QAR.                                                                                                                         
  • Free fully furnished accommodation provided.
  • Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month added to your basic salary. 
  • Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For those with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).
  • 40 days paid annual vacation days.
  • End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

Minimum Requirements

Education:  (FULL TIME STUDIES ONLY)

B.Sc Degree in science or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy.

 

Experience:  (LICENSED OR REGISTERED EXPERIENCE)

Minimum: 8 years experience as Respiratory Therapist

 

Required certification/licensure:

Valid Primary License from the country of origin if applicable AND should be eligible for license in the State of Qatar within the Supreme Council of Health.

 

Language Skills:

Fluent in English - Oral and Written. 

Specification

Position Summary:

  • Within the Mission, Vision, and Values of the Employer, providing highly specialized respiratory therapy services within a professional discipline. Supervises overall respiratory therapy activities or Respiratory Therapists and Technicians in assigned division.
  • Utilizes standards, guidelines, protocols and pathways for optimal care delivery.
  • Assumes responsibility for self development through continuing education pathways.

 

Principal Accountabilitie:

  • Performing rounds with physicians and exchange information on patient care management between Physician and respiratory therapist.
  • Performing quality control studies, monitoring and evaluating quality indicators for his/her assigned division.
  • Maintaining staff compliance for respiratory therapy documentation.
  • Performs periodic competency evaluation of respiratory therapist - in conjunction with Chief respiratory therapist evaluate the need for capital and stock items in assigned division. 
  • Prepares statistics of respiratory therapy procedures performed in assigned division.
  • Provides educational training to his/her team members, nurses, patient families and other health care professionals.
  • Preceptors and evaluator for all the new staff and students - performing annual evaluation of respiratory therapist and Technicians.
  • Develop and maintain working relations with other health care personnel.
  • Performing open and close record review.
  • Developing and updating policies and protocols meeting the Employer's and international standards.
