2 Years experience in Instrument technique in a Operating Room essential to be considered for this vacancy.  Minimum: 3 Year Nursing Diploma OR 3-4 Years Diploma in Operating Theatre/Surgical Tech. 

Preferred: Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing  OR BSc in Allied Health Sciences - Operation Theatre Technology.

Package

3 YEAR CONTRACT JOB (RENEWABLE)

Females: Single Contracts.

Males: Single and Family Contracts.

Tax free Basic Salary. From 9800 - 10836 QR (Qatari Riyals) per month. (Salary offered according to experience)

Free fully furnished accommodation provided.

Transport allowance: 1250 QR per month added to your basic salary.

Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For males with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).

40 days paid annual vacation days.

End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION: (Fulltime Studies).

Minimum: 3 -4 Years Diploma in Nursing OR 3-4 Years Diploma in Operating Theatre/Surgical Tech. 

Preferred: Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing  OR BSc in Allied Health Sciences - Operation Theatre Technology. 

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum: 2 years in Instrument Technique in Operating Room.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:

The applicant must have a valid professional license to practice, or registration (where applicable) from home country and/or country of last employment. Must have Good standing status. Registered Nurse, BLS Certification, Certification in clinical Specialty.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Fluent in English - Oral and Written.

JOB SUMMARY:

Assists in the process, which ensures that patient care is delivered in accordance with established corporate wide policies and procedure, State regulations and the hospital’s code of ethics.

Provides education to staff based on theoretical and clinical expertise.

This position will be accountable to ensure clinical resource and continuity of patient care during her/his duty hours.

COMMON RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operation Technician is responsible to Charge Nurse and Head Nurse to provide professional, quality patient care according to hospital standards.

To fulfill the above responsibilities, the Operation Technician in collaboration with nursing personnel and members of other disciplines, engages in the following activities:

  • provides direct patient care;
  • coordinates operating room services with the services of other healthcare disciplines.
  • fosters a climate conducive to education experiences for new nurses and students.
  • evaluates the quality and appropriateness of care, sterile instruments, supplies and equipment.
  • accepts organizational accountability for services provided to recipients.
