Package

OVERSEAS CONTRACT: GRADE 112

Basic Salary: +/- 18 850 QAR per month. This is only an estimated amount. The offered amount is the discretion of the employer. 

Transport Allowance: 1250 QAR per month. 

Accommodation: Provided.

Annual Leave: 40 calendar days.

Schooling Assistance: 21 000 QAR (maximum) (up to 3 children) per child per academic year up to (ages from 5-18 years and provided that they are studying in private schools in Doha). Payment will be made upon submission of the appropriate receipts and will cover basic tuition fee only (provided that you obtained residence permit for them under your sponsorship).

Air Passage Entitlement: Economy class air passage/flight ticket for self and family - up to 3 children up to 18 years old, on joining, annual leave & repatriation (provided that he/she obtained residence permit for them under his/her sponsorship).

Baggage Allowance: Unaccompanied baggage for yourself - up to 50 kg and family up to 200 kg on joining, and 100kg for self and 250 kg for family on  repatriation, to be reimbursed at standard rate.

Minimum Requirements

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university or college in the Health Sciences (Nursing, Medicine, Allied Health etc.)

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

Non Physicians: Minimum 3 years clinical, allied Health or Health operational/Managerial experience.

Physicians: 0 years with structure on job training program after joining the Employer, approved by the Dept. (entry level role for fresh Physicians).

ESSENTIAL CERTIFICATIONS:

HER (Health Electronic Records ) Certification/ EHR (Electronic Health Records) Certification/ Certification in the Clinical Content, Orders and/or Clinical Documentation applications/ Certification in Electronic Medical Records such as EPIC Systems for example.

Specification

POSITION SUMMARY:

The CIS Coordinator assists the CIS Specialist and is responsible for coordinating with the concerned clinical staff in ensuring that the Clinical Information Systems design and implementation are consistent with professional standards of evidenced-based clinical practice.

Coordinate planning, system design, development, validations, training, implementation, support maintenance and evaluation of the Clinical Information system functional components as assigned by his/her immediate supervisor.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Assist the CIS Specialist/s and CIS Director/s in integrating, managing, and planning resources to achieve strategic goals through clinical information management.

Coordinate clinical resources required for system implementation and support.

Provide consultative services to concern clinical and allied clinical leads regarding application of hospital computer systems and programs.

Develop and recommend education and training programs to promote understanding of the information system and meet the identified needs of the clinical staff.

Facilitate the dissemination and utilization of relevant research findings related to clinical information systems.

Direct and coordinate clinical information related projects with minimal guidance.

Prepare cost analysis report for approval of the immediate superior.

Participate in provision of pro – active support to end users.

Coordinate and participate in efforts towards maintaining components of automated revisions, testing, and integration of changes in the components of Clinical Information system.

Act as resource person as requested by Clinical Leaders.

Participate in planning related to future of Clinical Information system and related efforts.

Collaborate with Health Information System Department in the development, planning and implementation of Clinical Information system

Coordinate processing and follow – up of requests for enhancement and changes in the Information system as necessary.

Participate in computer training and orientation activities for the on board and newly recruited staff.

Maintain an updated knowledge of trends and advances in the field of Clinical Informatics and JCI standards.

Maintain documentation and tracking of the required system fixes, enhancements, and testing.

Maintain membership in organizations that enhance professional growth

Participate in conferences and meetings related to Clinical Informatics.

Perform other related duties as assigned by the Clinical Informatics Specialist and/or Director (Clinical Informatics) and/or other concerned authorities.
